Tim McGraw Readies Release of Southern Voice

“Southern Voice” Tim McGraw’s first studio album in two and a half years, will be released on October 20th on Curb Records. This will probably be the last on this label as tim has publicly spoken about his disappointment with the label over the release of a greatest hits album when he wanted to release a new one.
Recorded in Nashville with his longtime producer, Byron Gallimore (Faith Hill, Sugarland, Phil Vassar), the lead single from the album is “It’s A Business Doing Pleasure With You” and is running up the country charts (download from Amazon). Written by Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger and singer-songwriter Brett James (who has penned numerous hits, including “Jesus, Take the Wheel” for Carrie Underwood), “It’s A Business Doing Pleasure With You” is an up-tempo, tongue-in-cheek tale about the price of love and was #1 Most Added in its first and second weeks at radio and is already 15 on the Billboard Country Singles chart. Southern Voice is the follow-up to Let It Go, which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in April of 2007.
