Stealing Angels is coming onto the scene like a Tsunami, it builds slowly and hits with tremendous force that you never forget it was there. That is what Stealing Angels with their versatile sound, harmony and unbound energy are doing as we speak. Spending time in the studio working on the they’re self titled album “Stealing Angels“ and writing music. They are three of the hardest working singers in Nashville. Getting ready to go on the road in May and June to play at Fairs and Festivals all over the country. They will be stopping at local radio stations to promote their new album and lead single which you can download on Itunes, “Girls Gotcha Back” which is really about themselves, they always watch out for each other and make sure they are always there for each other, in other words they really do watch each others back.

During a recent break from the studio and song writing, the Italian food lovers took time out to talk with Countryfannetwork, and talk they did. They all wanted to talk at the same time and keeping track of who was answering the question became impossible, mainly because one would start to answer and the other two would step right in, like they were all connected to the same brain, its really pretty funny.

Countryfannetwork: Hi ladies how are you?

Stealing Angels: Great, how are you? Where really excited to be talking to you.

CFN: I am great. Its really great to be able to interview the three of you. How is the album coming along?

Stealing Angels: (Tayla Lynn) Great, we are spending a lot of time in the studio and having alot of fun.

CFN: Where did you come up with “Girls Gotcha Back”?

SA: Its a girlfriend song, we are always there for each other and its something we really wanted to do.

CFN: (Caroline) Do you still carry a Sugar Glider? I spent some time reading up on them, they are a very interesting choice of pet.

SA: His name was Joey (Named after Joey from Friends) and no I don’t unfortunately. I use to carry him in my sports bra, he would sleep all day and be up at night. I use to to take him out at different times and people would be really shocked when they saw him. Gliders are really loyal pets, but they require a lot of work and attention from a young age.

CFN: If you really wanted to make it on your own why not change your last names or have a stage name?

SA: (Tayla) Stealing Angels is our stage name not who we are. Our music speaks for itself and people really enjoy our sound. Its not like a lot of the younger fans realize the significance of our names, so it really has been no big deal.

CFN: Do you think it has had some effect on your careers?

SA: (Jennifer) It has helped sometimes, but not they way most people would think. You can not have the relatives that we have and people not let it affect their thinking in some small way.

CFN: If you had to categorize your music other than country what would it be?

SA: 80’s music, Traditional Country, American and Punk (laughs)

CFN: I see in your Bio that 80’s Punk was an influence for you, strange for country singers don’t you think?

SA: No, not at all, we like all kinds of music and pull from different places, sounds and things like that.

CFN: How do you feel about Country Pop as compared to Traditional Country?

SA: There is room for all types of country music. We love the Country Pop sound and Traditional Country, you don’t want to loose your roots.

CFN: How do or do you compare yourselves to the Dixie Chicks? And with all do respect to the Dixie Chicks, I think your sound is much wider and will attract a wider audience.

SA: Thank you so much for the compliment. But they where and still are a huge influence on use and our music. Its groups like the Dixie Chicks who have made a lot of sacrifices so groups like us have a chance to play our music.

CFN: How do you think the Music Industry treats up and coming artist?

SA: We don’t know. We have a Radio Tour in the next few weeks so we shall see what happens. So far the industry has been great to us.

CFN: What are two of you favorite foods?

SA: Pizza and Mexican, we love Mexican food.

Stealing Angels is made up of tradition, explorers, adventure and pure love. Their background is filled with the blue-blood of American royalty that goes back to the real beginning of country music and of America. Their ancestors were the pioneers that have built this country and the music it generates to this day, and Stealing Angles are just a continuation of that. We as a country and industry need them more then they need us. Their traditional sound, grit and heart will help bring country music back to roots more so than anything else. Just listen to their words, feel their emotions as they release their feelings in each and every song that they sing. Once you listen you will not be able to stop.
