Mindy McCready – I’m Still Here

There comes a time in life when we hit bottom and look up and wonder where things went so wrong, we decide at that time to either continue or make a change. Mindy McCready did just that, she made a change, and out of that change came a stronger, smarter and wiser person. From deep with in she found the strength to leave her past behind her and use her experience’s to record her new album “I’m Still Here“. A lot of people wrote Mindy off a long time ago, but she has surprised just about everyone. Quietly going into the studio and recording “I’m Still Here” and quietly promoting the album.

The single ” I’m Still Here” really hits hard right from the start, the vocals are incredible, Mindy takes her vocals to a new level, the feelings just pour out of her into this song as she takes her past and sings with hurt, fear and insecurities and comes out with a beautiful sound. Mindy is in fact still here and not going anywhere anytime soon. She is back on the music scene with an incredible album of heartfelt lyrics and deep reaching sound. Her silky voice just relaxes you and makes you feel that it is you these words are coming from. Even her rendition of Garth Brooks’ ” The Dance” is beautifully done and with such sincerity Garth Brooks should be very proud to have had Mindy redo one of his classic hits.

Mindy McCready for those of you who don’t realize it yet never left or so it seems. Mindy has not missed a beat, a note or a cue. She hits her notes with shear determination and vigor and with such power it makes you wonder where it was before. Now she is back on the scene and stronger than ever. Country music will be much better off now, and the great singers like Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and the younger female singers will have to stand up and take notice, there is a new power house in town because Mindy McCready is in fact here and is not leaving anytime soon. Welcome Home Mindy.
